Do You Need Extra Time or Assistance to Evacuate During an Emergency?
To help prepare the local citizens in the event of an evacuation for a wildfire or other emergency, the Yavapai County Emergency Management team is compiling and maintaining a voluntary Special Needs Evacuation Registry.
This valuable, voluntary, free registry is for those who will need extra time or assistance or who would rely on care-givers to evacuate during an emergency.
Having participated in planning and running evacuation drills, I know that this information is critical to make the evacuation go smoothly and prevent the possible loss of life.
If you need extra assistance, please help us help you by filling out a Registration Form and mail it in today!
Forms can be obtained from the POA office. (1133 Old Chisholm Trail)
